Andras Olsen (f.1978)
Started my musical education in
Tórshavn Brass Band at the age of 9.
In 1997 I went to Aarhus to study with
Nils-Ole Bo Johansen.
2000-2002 I was at the Postgraduate diploma course
at the Royal Academy of music in London,
where I studied with Denis Wick, Dudley Bright and Ian Bousfield.
In 2004 I started at the Soloist course at
the Royal Academy of music in Copenhagen, where i studied with Torbjørn Kroon.
Today I work in the Royal Army Band of Denmark,
and travel around Europe playing in other contemporary ensembles.
